Materials Used
- Basement Waterproofing: Two layers of high-quality APP bituminous membranes, protected with a dedicated protective layer.
- Roof & Wet Areas Waterproofing: Highly flexible two-component cementitious waterproof coating (MIXGUARD AC) with excellent UV resistance and crack-bridging ability, providing durable and long-term protection for exposed and wet areas while maintaining aesthetic appearance.
Project Overview
The basement was designed to serve as a parking area for residents and to house essential facilities such as power generators. To ensure structural protection and create a safe and functional environment, it was fully waterproofed using two layers of APP bituminous membranes, secured with a protective system before subsequent concrete works.
For bathrooms, kitchens, balconies, and roofs with a total area exceeding 1,500 m², an integrated waterproofing system was applied using high-performance materials. This ensured reliable protection against water leakage, even in highly humid environments and under extreme climatic conditions.
Result
The project was successfully delivered as a fully waterproofed residential building, enhancing structural durability, extending the lifespan of treated areas, and significantly reducing future maintenance costs.
