This projects covered multiple PETRONAS fuel stations across Khartoum, focusing on protecting underground fuel storage tanks and high-traffic service areas from corrosion, moisture, and chemical damage.
The underground tanks were coated with a specialized epoxy system designed for steel surfaces, offering exceptional resistance to fuel-induced corrosion and ensuring long-term structural integrity.
Service zones such as car wash areas and oil change bays presented a unique challenge due to constant exposure to oils, grease, cleaning chemicals, and heavy vehicle traffic. To address this, high-performance epoxy flooring systems were installed, providing superior resistance to chemicals and abrasion while maintaining a clean, low-maintenance surface.
Additionally, roofs and wet areas were waterproofed with grease-resistant, high-durability systems to protect building structures and enhance operational reliability.
Outcome
The projects delivered an integrated protective solution that extended the service life of the fuel stations and their critical infrastructure. By combining advanced epoxy coatings with robust waterproofing systems, the facilities achieved long-lasting performance, reduced maintenance costs, and maintained operational efficiency in demanding environmental and usage conditions.
