Project Overview
The Merawi Airport project comprised two major components:
Petronas Jet Fuel Station
- Application of specialized epoxy coatings to protect jet fuel storage tanks from corrosion.
- Roof and wet area waterproofing of administrative office buildings.
Cargo Warehouse Flooring
- Cargo warehouses at airports are exposed to heavy-duty traffic from forklifts, loading trucks, and the storage of bulky or sharp goods.
- Protecting the concrete floors against abrasion and wear was a key challenge.
- High-performance epoxy flooring systems were applied, ensuring long-lasting durability and resistance to mechanical stress.
Outcome
The project successfully delivered:
- Reliable corrosion protection for fuel storage facilities.
- Durable, abrasion-resistant flooring for cargo warehouses.
- Effective waterproofing of roofs and wet areas, securing long-term performance of airport infrastructure.
